Testing set-ups at the shop with a Pinnacle Head Fixture
A local engine shop dropped off 8 new aftermarket heads to be angle milled .100 or .75° it proved to be a good learning experience. We used a face mill to rough the heads down. Three passes at .030 with the face mill 700 rpm and the power feed wide open! Two passes with the Pinnacle Fly Cutter .008~.002 @ 900 rpm 4.5 IPM feed rate.

A local engine builder dropped these aftermarket Chevrolet heads to us for flat milling. Four quick passes and done. We used the Pinnacle Fly Cutter with PCD inserts on our knee mill with the Pinnacle Head and Manifold Fixture .

Helping a local guy fix his supercharged 505 BBC. The heads needed to be milled down .050 for the correct chamber volume .
